No Place Like Space
I got to know the new NASA top Boss, Charlie Bolden, over the last two years while he was the chair of a review team looking over the shoulders of the folks getting ready for the Hubble servicing. (I also got to meet three of the flyers on the that flight, including the commander -- really nice fellow -- but I digress.)
Bolden came to Langley last week as part of his "go to the centers and get introduced trip." I stood up to ask a question. He immediately called me by name and remembered a long ago promise to come visit the planetarium that I help run for monthly programs. After he finished and was exiting, I walked up to say hello and immediately handed him 2 of the new "Deluxe" cards. He had the "exact" correct reaction and pocketed them. I pointed out that he may need them when talking to Congress. A happy smile and he was rushed off to other duties.
So another successful delivery -- that makes two NASA administrators in a row with GOOHF cards in their possession. I have no reports on their "redeeming" strategy!
