Motorcycle Rally
I help to put on a long distance motorcycle rally (sort of a large scale scavenger hunt) every year. This year, one of the contestants was trying to kiss butt a little bit, and named all the wonderful staff on the rally in an e-mail list. He inadvertently left my name out. I sent him a chiding e-mail saying that when it was time for him to be scored, he was to come directly to me, and he'd better make sure every word in the answers were spelled right, every number was correct and clear, or else, in my best "Soup Nazi" impression, "NO POINTS FOR YOU!!!"
When I saw him the morning the rally was to start, I slipped him a GOOHF card. He looked a little puzzled. After the rally was over he came to my table, cringing, ready to be scored. But first he handed me back the GOOHF card. I looked at it and said "Okay, you can go to the other table to be scored." (He was in a different catagory than the people I was scoring anyway). He got a big grin and thanked me for being easy on him. (I let him keep the card.)
