Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us
I keep a stack of GOOHFs on a clip by my door, mostly to soften my lividity against that class of door-to-door cretins who cannot read TWO clearly posted signs that say, "ABSOLUTELY NO DOOR-TO-DOOR ANYTHING!" If they can make it past those and still have the nerve to knock on a door, they're gonna need one of those -- literally.
And whenever I needed to walk across the street to get a note to my late landlord and close friend, I'd jot it down on the back of a GOOHF and hand it to the receptionist -- the cards quickly became my trademark. With a bright orange GOOHF sitting on his desk, he knew I'd been by long he even made it through his office door.
