Cannot Be Purchased with Food Stamps
While I was at a local grocery store in the evening, the lady in front of me had a large selection of groceries. With no I.D. with her, she could not use her food stamps, and without enough money to pay for them, she just walked out leaving all the groceries behind.
After a long day and then this happening, the cashier was not in a very good mood. After she rang up my purchases and as I was paying for them, I gave her a GOOHF card which she looked at, read it and started laughing. She said that after the day she has had she could use this. Now when I go to her checkout stand, she has it tacked to her message board, and still thanks me for the respite in her rather harried day that day.
